First and foremost, thank you for checking out my website. If you like art, design, and random projects, you’re in the right place.
​
I’m Brittney, a small town girl from Sachse Texas, where I graduated from Sachse High School and went on to graduate The University of North Texas, Cum Laude, in 2014 with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Art and Design and a minor in English.
​
My artistic path is rooted in photography. When I was 14, I entered a photograph into the Texas PTA Reflections contest, where I took 1st in local and district, before getting knocked out at the state level. From there, my passion for photography grew. Now in the age of digital photography, my college professor advised us that we needed to take a Photoshop class to help with editing, which started my graphic design journey.

I currently work for the Dallas Cowboys (DCM) as a Graphic Designer and Production Artist. At DCM, we have created and screen printed graphic tees for multiple brands including, but not limited to Advocare, Duck and Buck Commander, TX Whiskey, IndyCar, The University of Texas, and of course, the Dallas Cowboys. My day to day includes graphic development, catalog creation, and a variety of other responsibilities.

In 2019, I decided to branch out and start my own apparel company which you can read more about here. While exploring my new side hustle, it brought me once again closer to photography, forcing me to start photographing people (something that I rarely did prior to this). Owning my own small business has taught me invaluable lessons and helped me to grow within my abilities.
​
In 2013-2015, I owned and operated Brittney Young Photography, taking part in numerous art and craft fairs until ultimately deciding to hang up my hat after college. Since I am involved in many other things outside of photography, I decided to rebrand to Brittney Young Creative. When I am not doing something artsy, you will most likely find me drinking coffee, attending a car meet, at the gym, spoiling my fur-baby, or fixing up my house.

Graphic responsibilities consist of graphic design for a variety of outputs, including apparel graphics for screen print, marketing graphics for social media and email, and catalog creation. Production Artist responsibilities include creating separations for the screen print process (vector and photo based), neck label creation, organizing outside licensee art, and custom jersey creation.

As the assistant to the photographer, I was responsible for keeping product organized, prepped and ready for photoshoots. I was also responsible for organizing digital resources on our in house server, editing all images for web and advertisement, and web and print ad creation for marketing purposes.
